Do you need to brush up on your racing skills?
Our Exclusive Race Preparation Clinic offers 16 club swimmers the chance to work on their starts, turns and finishes, refine their overall swimming performance and boost their racing skills prior to specific upcoming competitions
Get exclusive feedback, and tips and tricks, from double Olympian Edward Sinclair - so you can maximise your swimming performances and race at the optimum level!
iPads and/or GoPROs will be used to film short videos of swimmers' race pace swimming above and below water
Videos and written evaluation reports by Olympian are included in this clinic and will be emailed to all swimmers within 5 working days after this clinic
Swimming Sessions will focus on:
- Technical elements:
- Practising race specific strokes with technique correction
- Skills development:
- Race Starts + Underwater Phases + Breakouts => Maximising speed
- Turns + Finishes => Optimising speed and efficiency
- Race preparation:
- Broken swims
- Practising swimming at race pace with good technique
- Race tactics with race simulation
Days' schedules:
- 9.35am - Registration
- Welcome & Day's Briefing
- Warm up
- Pool Session - Racing Swim Session with filming (120mins)
- Lunch break - please bring all food and drinks from home
- Racing Workshop
- Warm up
- Pool Session - Racing Swim Session (120mins)
- Day's Debrief
- 4.30pm - Home

Suitable for:
club swimmers aged 9 - 17
competitive up to the national level
Fee: £199 per swimmer per day
Swimmers will be allocated into focused training groups according to their age and ability.
